81. Golden Globes: "Barbie" liegt an der Spitze der Nominierungen

Die grelle Satire "Barbie" von US-Regisseurin Greta Gerwig geht mit neun Nominierungen als Favorit in das Rennen um die Golden Globes. Das Drama "Oppenheimer" von Christopher Nolan über den Erfinder der Atombombe hat acht Gewinnchancen. Martin Scorseses Historienthriller "Killers of the Flower Moon" und das skurrile Märchen "Poor Things" von Regisseur Giorgos Lanthimos folgen mit jeweils sieben Nennungen.

Die Nominierungen für die Golden Globe Awards in 27 Film- und Fernsehkategorien wurden am Montag in Beverly Hills bekanntgegeben. In der Riege der Darsteller können Schauspieler wie Bradley Cooper ("Maestro"), Cillian Murphy ("Oppenheimer"), Leonardo DiCaprio ("Killers of the Flower Moon") oder Timothée Chalamet ("Wonka") auf einen Globe hoffen. Bei den Damen kann unter anderen die deutsche Schauspielerin Sandra Hüller auf einen Golden Globe hoffen. Die 45-Jährige wurde für ihre Rolle in dem Justizthriller "Anatomie eines Falls" nominiert, das am Wochenende bereits beim Europäischen Filmpreis die zentralen Ehrungen für sich reklamierte. Mit Hüller sind in der Sparte "Beste Darstellerin in einem Filmdrama" fünf weitere Schauspielerinnen im Rennen, darunter Lily Gladstone ("Killers of the Flower Moon"), Carey Mulligan ("Maestro") und Annette Bening ("Nyad").

Der Favorit "Barbie" trifft in der Komödiensparte unter anderem auf "Poor Things", "The Holdovers" und "May December". In der Drama-Sparte konkurrieren um den Preis als bester Film neben "Anatomie eines Falls" und "The Zone of Interest" auch "Oppenheimer", "Killers of the Flower Moon", "Maestro" und "Past Lives". Unter den sechs Nominierten in der Sparte "Bester nicht-englischsprachiger Film" findet sich erneut "Anatomie eines Falls", "The Zone of Interest", in dem ebenfalls Hüller zu sehen ist.

Rund 300 Journalisten und Journalistinnen aus aller Welt stimmen über die Preisträger ab. Die Trophäen in Form einer goldfarbenen Weltkugel sollen am 7. Jänner 2024 in Beverly Hills verliehen werden. Der Sender CBS will die 81. Trophäen-Vergabe live ausstrahlen.
