Der Lebensborn

1938, kurz nach der Besetzung des Sudetenlands und der Zerschlagung der
Tschechischen Republik durch deutsche Truppen, nimmt die 16jährige
Grétka an einer "rassenbiologischen Untersuchung" der SS-Organisation
"Lebensborn" teil, die als Tuberkulose-Vorsorge getarnt ist. Weil sie blonde
Haare und deutsche Vorfahren hat, wird sie auserkoren, als Gebärerin zur
Veredelung der "arischen Rasse" beizutragen. Grétka, arglos und unwissend,
reist nicht ungern nach Deutschland, ins Lebensbornheim "Isolde", das auf
sie den Eindruck eines Waldsanatoriums macht. Sie ahnt nicht, was man hier
mit ihr vorhat.

Die Villa gehörte früher einer jüdischen Familie. Ein Sohn der ehemaligen
Besitzer, Leo, versteckt sich noch immer auf dem weitläufigen Gelände, um
der Deportation zu entkommen. Als Grétka ihm begegnet, entdecken sie
bald Gefühle füreinander. Und dann erfährt sie auch, was man hier mit ihr
bezweckt.

Als hordenweise SS-Männer eintreffen, um ihren Zuchtauftrag zu erfüllen,
hat Grétka gewissermaßen Glück. Der ihr zugewiesene Offizier verweigert
aus Anstand die Paarung. Und auch in der lesbischen Oberschwester findet
sie eine Verbündete, die ihr das Leben in der Villa Isolde erleichtert. Während
ihre "Kameradinnen" dem Führer Kinder gebären, bleibt Grétka unberührt.
Erst als sie Leo auf seiner Flucht vor Nazi-Häschern das Leben rettet und sich
ihm hingibt, wird sie schwanger . . .

1938. German troops have recently crushed the Czech Republic and now
occupy Sudentenland. 16-year-old Grétka takes part in a "biological race
examination" conducted by the SS organisation,"Lebensborn". The test par-ticipants
are told that it is merely a prophylactic examination for tuberculosis.
On account of her blonde hair and German ancestry, Grétka is selected
as a 'breeder'. Her offspring will, so the SS plans, help contribute to the propagation
of the noble "Aryan race". The unsuspecting Grétka is by no means
averse to travelling to Germany to the Lebensborn home, "Isolde". In its
woodland location, it looks just like any other sanatorium. She has no idea
what lies ahead.

This villa used to belong to a Jewish family. Leo, one of the sons, is still hiding
somewhere on the estate, desperate to avoid being deported. One day
Grétka encounters Leo, and the two fall for each other. Grétka also finds out
just what the SS have in store for her.

Before long, hordes of SS men arrive at the clinic, ready to fulfil their duty as
breeders. But Grétka is lucky. The officer assigned to her refuses to go ahead
with the coupling, on the grounds that it would be indecent. Grétka also
discovers an ally in the shape of the lesbian matron, whose intervention
helps ease Grétka's life at the villa. And so, while her other female "comrades"
are busy bearing children for the Führer, Grétka remains untouched. But
then, after having saved the fugitive Leo from the clutches of Nazi henchmen,
Grétka gives herself to him - and falls pregnant . . .
